2022, a phenomenal year!
Jets Group had a phenomenal 2022, with record high turnover. Our vacuum solutions attracted big clients and led to large deliveries. Our company is expanding to accomodate our growing team and sees long-term growth opportunities in building solutions.
We can say with pride that we left behind a record high turnover in the Jets Group with revenues skyrocketing by over 100 million NOK.
Our turnover last year was almost NOK 570 million, a 26% increase from the previous year. This success can be attributed to the steady and solid work in all areas of our organization combined with the growing market for mobile solutions and positive developments in the aftermarket and maritime segments.
Jets® is a global company from Norway. Founded in an international shipbuilding and maritime community on the Western coasts of Norway, Jets® is now an international and diverse supplier with many land-based and maritime market segments.
Our headquarters are located in Hareid, close to the best Art Nouveau city of Norway; Ålesund.
Jets® is the inventor and maker of the Vacuumarator® pump. This compact and reliable vacuum generator is the heart of any Jets® system.
Strong Growth in Mobile Solutions
One reason for our success is the increased interest for mobile toilets. In just a few years, our turnover in this market has tripled and ended at more than NOK 80 million last year. Our technology has attracted attention from big companies who see the potential for our products, particularly in festivals, disaster situations, and defense. Our vacuum toilets have even been used in border control work between the USA and Mexico.
Large Deliveries for Cruise and Defense
We've also had great success in delivering to the maritime market, particularly in cruise ships and defense ships. Thousands of our vacuum toilets have already been supplied to cruise ships worldwide, and we're now seeing a revival of interest in new cruise ships after the pandemic.
Prestigious Assignment to London Office
Although deliveries to buildings are still at a relatively low level, we see long-term growth opportunities in this market. Our delivery of toilets to the Bloomberg Group's head office in London has been one of our most prestigious land assignments in recent years, showcasing the benefits of our low water consumption toilets. Countries like Brazil and Israel, where water is scarce and often expensive, are showing a lot of interest in our building solutions.
Growing Out of Our Premises
Our success has also meant that our employee count has increased, leading us to set up a temporary barracks rig. In the long term, we're looking to expand our premises to accommodate our growing team.
It has been an amazing year at Jets®, and we can't wait to see what the future holds!
