Sanitation infrastructure for a medium-sized festival
Jets® NOMAD provides a flexible and hygienic sanitation solution for medium-sized festivals. With Jets® NOMAD, you can plan the festival layout without requiring tanker trucks to enter the festival area. This allows you to place and organize toilet facilities more strategically, improving visitor flow and accessibility.
To reduce overcrowding and queues and improve the visitor experience, festivals with 20,000 visitors require a minimum of 120 strategically placed toilets. Here is an example of how you can use Jets® NOMAD to enhance the festival experience and streamline the work. In this example, approximately 120 toilets are distributed over two areas, one on each side of the festival.
Each side has:
- 1 x Jets® NOMAD Vacuum Unit L
- 1 x Jets® NOMAD Catcher Unit
- 1 x Jets® NOMAD Water Supply Unit
- 1 x Jets® NOMAD Transfer Tank Unit
This setup reduces the time required to empty the tanks. In addition, it provides a hygienic and pleasant experience for visitors.

Discharge process
Unlike chemical toilets, which must be emptied individually, the Jets® vacuum system transports wastewater directly to a designated discharge point by vacuum. This point is located outside the festival area, allowing emptying to take place without disrupting the festival experience. This allows you to plan the festival layout more strategically, considering visitor experience, people flow, and the sale of food and drink.

Sustainability
Change the numbers – change the world. Sustainability is the core of our business idea. Everything JETS develops and innovates creates lasting value for our customers and the environment. Our business philosophy is to use less of our planet’s most important resource – water.
Hygiene
Help reduce the spread of harmful pathogens with Jets® vacuum toilets. In a vacuum toilet, harmful bioaerosols are safely contained and transported away from the room. Reduced pressure in the vacuum system forces the wastewater into the vacuum pipework, along with air from the adjacent area. This means that air, odors, bacteria, and viruses are drawn into the vacuum drainage system.
Save water
Vacuum toilets use air instead of water to transport wastewater. Our vacuum toilets use only 0,8 liter per flush, reducing water consumption by 90% compared to a conventional toilet, while providing the same level of hygiene and comfort. For the same reason logistical costs for water transport and wastewater handling are lower, and a significant reduction in man hours saves you time and money.
